Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern your use of MrStockTrader (the "Service"), an automated stock-trading platform operated by apps4myself.com (referred to in these Terms as "apps4myself.com," "the Company," "we," "us," or "our"). MrStockTrader is a product line of apps4myself.com. By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction to use the Service. By creating an account you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Account responsibilities

You are responsible for keeping your username, password, and brokerage API keys confidential. Any activity that occurs under your account is your responsibility. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate any account at our sole discretion if we believe it has been used to violate these Terms or applicable law.

3. NOT financial advice

MrStockTrader is a software tool. apps4myself.com is not a registered investment advisor, broker, or dealer. Nothing on the website, in our communications, or in any output of the automated engine constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice. All decisions you make on the basis of information provided through the Service are your own. You should consult a qualified professional before making any investment decision.

4a. Plain-English disclaimer (repeated on purpose)

The following is the same warning that appears on our Disclaimer page. It is repeated here deliberately so that no user can say they were told only once.

• This is a tool, not financial advice. apps4myself.com is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, financial planner or tax adviser.
• You must open your own account with Alpaca. This program works with Alpaca and no other broker at this time. We have no affiliation, arrangement or monetary gain of any kind with Alpaca; we use them solely because their API is what allows a program to place orders.
• You set the rules; the program follows them. Nothing is tailored to your personal circumstances.
• You hold the keys. They are encrypted, stored only under your membership account, and you can delete them at any time with one click. We never hold or touch your funds.
• Nobody pays us to point you at a stock. Stocks are found mathematically, by the price band you chose and the other indicators the program uses. We have no interest in, and no relationship with, the stocks displayed.
• The price you see is not always the price you get. There is a delay between a price being read, the order being decided, and the broker filling it. The fill can differ, and how much depends on the stock, the market and your own connection speed.
• Paper results are hypothetical. They cannot account for slippage, thin liquidity, or an order that you place that would not get filled. They are not evidence of what a real account would earn.
• Automated systems fail. All software has bugs. Servers go down, networks drop, brokers reject orders, data arrives late or wrong. Things happen even to the biggest and best stock brokers, and to our servers, your connection and your computer. Watch it; do not assume.
• This is not a game. Paper mode is a training ground to practise and learn before you ever use real money. When you switch to live trading, the money is real, the losses are real, and they are permanent.
• You are responsible. Every gain is yours and every loss is yours — not this program's, not apps4myself.com's, not anyone else's. You can lose some of your money. You can lose all of it.

4. Trading risk disclosure

Trading securities — especially low-priced and penny stocks — carries a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for all investors. You may lose some or all of your invested capital. Past performance is not indicative of future results. Automated trading systems can amplify both gains and losses. Use of the Service's automated features is entirely at your own risk.

5. Relationship with your brokerage

Your brokerage account at Alpaca Securities (or any other broker we may support in the future) is held with that broker, not with apps4myself.com. apps4myself.com does not hold customer funds. apps4myself.com does not custody securities. The Service acts solely as a software interface between you and your broker. Your relationship with your broker is governed by the broker's own agreements, terms, and disclosures, which you must read and accept separately.

6. Service availability

We make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or timely operation. Markets, brokerages, third-party APIs, and our own infrastructure can fail, slow down, or behave unexpectedly. apps4myself.com is not liable for any losses or missed opportunities arising from downtime, latency, bugs, or third-party outages.

7. Acceptable use

You agree NOT to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the Service except where permitted by law.
• Use the Service to attack, overload, probe, or interfere with our infrastructure or other users.
• Use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or manipulative trading activity.
• Share your account with anyone else, or operate multiple accounts to evade limits.
• Scrape, mirror, or republish the Service without our written consent.

8. Account termination

You may close your account at any time by contacting us or using the in-app account-deletion feature when available. We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or applicable law, or if continued service would expose apps4myself.com to legal, regulatory, or financial risk.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, apps4myself.com and its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, lost trading opportunities, or loss of data, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you have paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. apps4myself.com does not warrant that trading strategies, scanners, or signals produced by the engine will be profitable or accurate.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless apps4myself.com from and against any claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be highlighted on the dashboard. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and, where applicable, the state in which apps4myself.com is organized, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in that state.
